First Impressions
Going into Unit 0 i had low expectations on what i would actually learn. Different from other introductory units ive participated in , this unit's goal was to jump right in.
💚 How to deeply explore Brightspace using user interfaces and their purpose
💚 Practiced outlook skills and learned new tricks on how to send a proper email, sign an email (officially cause i also learned writing my name at the end isn't the only way)
💚 Got familiar with tech terms i always see but never knew their meanings. ex. CC and BCC referring to email is so universal but i only just found out its function.
💚Most importantly i Learned how to utilize my one drive and better organize my folders and files for how i need to view them instead of default layout
Professor Noone showed me this life changing (I know I m dramatic) tip on how to sort my folders, before taking this class I often struggled navigating OneDrive due to the pile up of files and folders. I never thought to sort them because I would just search the name in the engine. Using the combination of the arrow interface serving as a sorter and the "My Files" option, i haven't had trouble locating files since
First week did feel overwhelming, especially looking at the checklist, but once I started exploring everything step by step and watching Professors Noone videos for help, it became a whole lot easier to navigate. I learned new systems are mostly about practice, patient and not being afraid to click around and explore.
