Figjam is a online whiteboard tool developed by Figma that is a popular design tool. It's designed to create brainstorming and collaboration among teams, allowing users to create, share, and work together on visual tasks.
Collaboration: Users can work on a Figjam board at the same time, seeing each other's changes.
Sticky Notes and Art Tools: Figjam provides sticky notes and drawing tools to help brainstorming and visual creations.
Templates: Figjam offers templates for lots of purposes, such as brainstorming, boards, journey maps, and more.
Comments and Reactions: Users can leave comments and reactions on Figjam boards to give feedback or tell their thoughts.
Process I took to Create My Project:
Select a Template: Start by selecting a template at the top left side of the screen.
Customize: personalize the template by using the tools to express your ideas.
Collaborate: Invite team members to join the Figjam board and work together.
Share: Once the brainstorming and creation process is complete, you can export the Figjam board or share it with others. Example is in the classroom!
Figjam relates to the Danielson Framework through the Instruction aspect. Figjam fosters positive instruction by engaging students through collaboration with their peers. Figjam offers interactive activities such as interactive diagrams, mind maps, and collaborative problem-solving activities. By involving students in the creation of visual work, Figjam allows an interactive learning environment where students are actively engaged in the learning.
