主旨：

把 Kinson Studio Minecraft MTR 伺服器地圖從 1:10 比例擴大至 1:5 比例。

擴大原因：

由於現時在 Minecraft MTR 伺服器上各地區的發展空間不足，導致我們無法完整地建設所有道路和建築物。有見及此，我們需要擴大伺服器的地圖，以應付未來發展需要。現時伺服器的地圖與真實香港的大小比例是 1:10（5120 x 3840 格），我們將會把它擴大一倍至 1:5 比例（10240 x 7680 格）。

地圖擴大流程：

我們會從 2021 年 2 月 2 日開始，陸續把 Minecraft MTR 伺服器原有 1:10 比例地圖上的所有結構複製並遷移至新創建的 1:5 比例香港地形圖，為期兩個月左右。届時，我們會分階段暫停各個地區的發展，次序如下：

2 月 2 日：香港島－南區
2 月 6 日：新界－離島區
2 月 10 日：新界－北區
2 月 14 日：新界－大埔區
2 月 18 日：新界－西貢區
2 月 22 日：九龍－黃大仙區
2 月 26 日：九龍－觀塘區
3 月 2 日：香港島－東區
3 月 6 日：九龍－九龍城區
3 月 10 日：香港島－灣仔區
3 月 14 日：新界－沙田區
3 月 18 日：新界－元朗區
3 月 22 日：新界－屯門區
3 月 26 日：新界－荃灣區
3 月 30 日：新界－葵青區
4 月 3 日：香港島－中西區
4 月 7 日：九龍－深水埗區
4 月 11 日：九龍－油尖旺區

注意：請不要於宣布暫停發展某個地區後在該地區中興建任何東西，因為它們將不會被複製至新的地圖，敬請留意。請等待新的 1:5 比例地圖正式公開使用才回復興建。

關閉伺服器：

由於複製地圖檔需要在伺服器下綫的時候進行，因此，於此期間某些時間會暫停公開開放伺服器給玩家加入。詳情請留意於我們 Discord 伺服器的公告。

最後：

當整個複製地圖過程完成後，原有的 1:10 比例地圖將會從伺服器移除，換上全新的 1:5 比例地圖。之後所有玩家便可以回復發展。

Aim:

To expand the map on the Kinson Studio Minecraft MTR Server from 1:10 scale to 1:5 scale.

Reason for expanding:

Currently, there is not enough space for us to completely build all roads and buildings on the Minecraft MTR Server. In light of this, we need to expand the map to fulfil future development needs. The current server map size compared to real-life Hong Kong is 1:10 scale (5120 x 3840 blocks). We will double the size of the map and make it to a 1:5 scale (10240 x 7680 blocks).

Map expansion procedure:

Starting from 2 February 2021, we will copy and migrate all structures on the original 1:10 sized map to the new 1:5 sized map. This process would take around two months. In the meantime, we will suspend all development of districts one by one. The order is as follows:

2 February: Hong Kong Island - Southern District
6 February: New Territories - Islands District
10 February: New Territories - North District
14 February: New Territories - Tai Po District
18 February: New Territories - Sai Kung District
22 February: Kowloon - Wong Tai Sin District
26 February: Kowloon - Kwun Tong District
2 March: Hong Kong Island - Eastern District
6 March: Kowloon - Kowloon City District
10 March: Hong Kong Island - Wan Chai District
14 March: New Territories - Sha Tin District
18 March: New Territories - Yuen Long District
22 March: New Territories - Tuen Mun District
26 March: New Territories - Tsuen Wan District
30 March: New Territories - Kwai Tsing District
3 April: Hong Kong Island - Central and Western District
7 April: Kowloon - Sham Shui Po District
11 April: Kowloon - Yau Tsim Mong District

Note: Please DO NOT build within a district after an announcement is made to suspend the development of that district as all structures built after the announcement WILL NOT be migrated to the new map. Please wait until the new 1:5 sized map is in use, and then you may continue with your development.

Closure of the server:

Since the copying of map files can only be done when the server is offline, the server will be closed to the public at certain times during this time period. Please check the announcements in our Discord server for details.

At last:

After the entire migration progress has been completed, the original 1:10 sized map will be removed from the server and will be replaced with the new 1:5 sized map. After that, all players may resume their development.
