This was created for a studio assignment, to draw yourself by just touching your face and not looking at anything, and then use your eyes to develop that drawing into an extended piece. After my initial blind sketch, I tried using colored pencils to add color and detail, but it looked bad then I tried to cover it in charcoal and go with a different approach, but that also looked bad, so I am uploading the first sketch and the others for comparison. If I could’ve, I would’ve gone a different route to continue, most likely adding more details in pencil to make it look almost realistic without drawing away from the fact that it is blind.
