What is it?

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that is characterized by stringing posture together so that you transition from one to another, using breathing techniques. Vinyasa Yoga is also known as “flow” yoga. In Vinyasa Yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Some of the benefits of Vinyasa Yoga includes improved stability and balance, it helps you build endurance, core strengthening, can burn calories, lowers your stress and anxiety, calms the mind, and it can even improves your circulation! Ashtanga, Baptiste Yoga, Jivamukti, Power Yoga, and Prana Flow could all be considered Vinyasa Yoga.
