Mantra Meditation

What is it?

In Mantra meditation, mantra is a syllable/word/phase that is repeated by speaking, chanting, or whispering either out loud or in the mind during meditation. Most mantra and meditation teachers recommend lying down or sitting in a comfortable position where you can silently repeat your mantra. Once as you inhale and exhale. Neuroscientists are using advanced brain imaging tools to quantify and confirm some of the health benefits from this ancient practice. Benefits include its ability to free your mind of background clutter and calming your nervous system. It's also been linked to a reduction of chronic stress as well as seeing decreases in heart rate and blood pressure, an increase in immunity functionality and many other benefits.



What are the benefits ?

The practice of mantra meditation is for spiritual doctrine, to serve as a vehicle meditation. It doesn't bother your conscious and it only affects certain mental state. It keeps you in peace if done the right way. A known fact, it reduces anxiety, stress, bad habits, and anger one tends to produce. Most retired Veterans used Mantra Meditation to reduce stress and intrusive thoughts. Elderly people be the most to practice this meditation process to help with reduction of chronic stress as well as decreasing the in heart rate and blood pressure. Not only your mind will benefit from this, however, it includes your body because mantra meditation helps increase your immune system functionality throughout the body.
