The teaching assistant is the second stage carried out by prospective teachers in schools. In this stage, prospective teachers are assigned to assist mentor teachers in schools in terms of preparing learning materials before class, assisting during learning in class, and also after learning. Prospective teachers can assist teacher mentors in preparing learning materials, handling ice breaking in class, and assisting in correcting grades or checking student assignments. Prospective teachers can also assist teacher mentors in preparing rooms for online classes and all implementations that will be carried out in class activities, but prospective teachers are not yet permitted to conduct teaching independently.
