What a great e-portofolio! I'm glad I could read it and experience some of the journey with Maryati, especially in SEP. It is really wholesome when the author has a purpose in guiding children's nature to achieve highest safety and happiness. I agree that rather changing the students, it is better to embrace their uniqueness and try to match it with each of their learning style and encourages the students to grow in every aspects. Providing a safe place for the students where they can express themselves also sounds like a great idea!
In the personal and professional development page, one thing that stands out most are about how Maryati dare to take risks in the lessons and integrates social issues. I believe when we step outside of our comfort zone, we would be able to grow mentally because we're become stronger to face obstacles, but also professionally like what Maryati has experienced when she learned how to integrate social/environmental issues with minimal knowledge.
The e-portfolio is straightforward, heartfelt, and wholesome. Written simply and beautifully makes someone like me feel intrigued to read despite not liking to read. It is mesmerizing to get to experience the design processes and also other developments with Maryati through reading.
