I like writing acrostic poems because I like being creative with each letter and I can use each letter to show how I feel. My acrostic poem is called "I May Be A Kid But I Am A Lot of Things" because I am just a kid but I can change the world just being me.

In my poem, I hope to convey that I matter in many ways.

I have written a short story. In this story, the main character is the Fir tree. The Fir tree in the beginning feels unhappy about how it is not similar to other trees which change color during Fall season. Later the fir tree realizes that it is also wonderful to be an evergreen tree. From the story, I try to explain how everyone has different nature. And how all of us are unique and special in our own way. I feel that all of us should feel the importance of ourselves and try to be best in whatever qualities, skill or talent we possess.

I matter because, I am who I am.

Everything in the universe reflects in me and I reflect the universe. We all have a role to play, a duty to fulfil, and give the best we can - to ourselves and to those around us.

I could be a ripple in the lake or a continent on this earth. I matter because every creation matters, and everything is connected. Together we add beauty, comfort, joy and meaning to each other.

We should take in account everyone's thoughts, even if not a lot of people agree with what's being stated. The world should be open to diverse opinions. This poem explains it, and elaborates why each and every individual matters. There are so many wonderful ideas in the world that just can't find the right opportunity to roll off the tonue. Although some aren't, it does no harm to hear the ones which want to be heard. Which is why we all matter regardles of anything.

This prompt inspired me to write to all people about why we all matter and what is stopping us from being kind, inclusive and good to our planet. I am writing to all people because of a promise. One that I hope you will take to heart. I promise that YOU matter, WE matter, and I matter.
