This photo is of the construction site across the Hwy 60 from LVE showing completed the Tresort apartments at the right, condominiums at the right center and the completed Publix Building in the center. The three grass covered plots on the lower left are the site of three proposed restaurants and an office building.

The completed Publix building above is expected to open in about a week. The automobiles in the parking area are most likely Publix employees stocking the shelves.

These three plots are projected to be three restaurants on the two left plots and an office building on the lower area on the right.

I was asked by several residents to try to see if I could photograph the construction of the new Sardis Connector. I tried but could only detect the beginning of the construction at Mt. Vernon Rd. and a small section at what I believe is on Southers Rd.  The remaining road construction is hidden by the trees.

This photo shows the edge of the construction at Mt. Vernon Rd on the left and a short section of construction on Southers Rd.

I think this is the area where road construction is underway but only the one section is visible.

I was able to download this map of the Sardis Road Connector route from the Hall County Transportation website. The upper right corner of the map is where the connector starts at the Mt Vernon and Hwy 60 intersection and joins Southers Rd for a distance before joining Ledan Rd. and following Ledan Rd. to the traffic circle. From there it joins Sardis Rd. at the traffic light a short distance from Hwy 53 at the lower left of the map.

In the photos below I am attempting to show all of the cottages and the main buildings at LVE followed by photos  of the surrounding area. Most of the  photos were made on May 16 which was  an overcast day. The surrounding area photos including the main buildings were made May 20th in the late afternoon.
