This photo shows the only current construction underway near LVE. The road work on the left is the construction of the new Sardis Connector at the intersection with Mt. Vernon and Thompson Bridge Rd. (Hwy 60). The construction on the right is the Hospice House being built as part a medical center associated with the Northeast Georgia Health System. Eventually five buildings will be a part of this complex across Thompson Bridge Rd. from LVE. The building in the center is a medical building and was the first to be comleted.

It's a stretch, but our home has lake and mountain views and we have a boat dock!
