I am currently a professor at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and I am a member of the stochastics group. Previously, I was a Courant Instructor at the Courant Institite for Mathematical Sciences in New York. I completed my Phd in 2016 in the group of Probability Theory at Bonn University, working under the supervision of Prof. Anton Bovier.
I am a member of the scientific network "Stochastic Processes on Evolving Networks", supported by the DFG.
I co-organized a Miniworkshop on Stochastic population models on networks which took place in Munich, August 22-24, 2018.
I am also a coordinator and mentor for "Jugend trainiert Mathematik".
