I am currently a professor at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and I am a member of the stochastics group. Previously, I was a Courant Instructor at the Courant Institite for Mathematical Sciences in New York. I completed my Phd in 2016 in the group of Probability Theory at Bonn University, working under the supervision of Prof. Anton Bovier.

I am a member of the scientific network "Stochastic Processes on Evolving Networks", supported by the DFG, PI in the TRR146 "Multiscale Simulation Methods for Soft Matter Systems" and PI in the SPP 2265 Random Geometric Systems and PI of the ANR-DFG funded grant Random Energy Models: Extremes, Complex temperature, Optimization.

I am also a coordinator and mentor for "Jugend trainiert Mathematik".
