Introduction to the course and to me-Why do you even have to take this class? Why do I call everyone dude? Where do I find all the information I need for this class (write down the URL for this webpage)? 5-10 min
Write what you know: Handwrite or type on a Word doc: Describe a time when writing was a positive experience. Describe a time when it has been a negative one. Feel free to rant and be honest. And one final thing: What are you into? Best music artist or movie of all time? Hobbies? Where are you from? Add your name and a nickname if you prefer it and your gender pronouns if you wish. 10 min
Introductions: Pair up and exchange info. Go around the room and introduce your classroom partner. Turn papers into me. 20 min
Discuss the rest of the week and Homework for our next class on Wednesday. 5 min
