A recent discovery

It seem that part of the treasure of La Buse may have recently been found! In August 2018 two ecologists exploring the east side of the island of Rodrigues, far to the east of the island of Mauritius, stumbled across a group of three rocks with chiseled markings. Between the rocks they discovered a pulley system with ropes and a chest,  and  a photograph shows nearby what may be a goat's skull in a metal (possibly gold) clasp. This would be a 'chimera'. The seafarers of the time were superstitious and believed that a chimera would guard a treasure, having the power to kill those who seek the treasure and who have an impure heart.
