Important Deadlines
Departure Date
Students with a D-2-6/D-2-8 visa must leave within a month after the end of the program (= end of the semester) regardless of the expiration date of their visa as it will expire the day we report to the Immigration Office
If you do not leave Korea within the grace period, you will be considered an illegal resident
Course Evaluation
Students must all finish the course evaluation in order to see their final grades online
Please visit the Portal (Academic System) and click Academics-Classes-Class Evaluation to finish your course evaluation
Remember to finish it within a week after the end of the semester
Checking your grades/Academic Transcript
Your grades will be available online only for a week or two after the end of the semester so please check your grades online before it disappears
Your (physical and final) official academic transcript will be sent out by the Office of International Affairs about a month and a half after the end of the semester (late January/late July) via email

(Foreigner) Registration Card extension
Those who decided to extend their stay at Konkuk for an extra semester must visit the Immigration Office to extend their visa/Registration Card
Documents needed for Registration Card extension (documents in asterisk will be provided by our Office)
1) Application Form: available at the Immigration Office
2) Passport
3) Registration Card
4) Confirmation of Study Extension *
5) School Business Registration *
6) Transcript: obtained from the Registrar's Office (Building #1) or at the kiosk at the Student Union Building
7) Certificate of Enrollment: obtained from the Registrar's Office (Building #1) or at the kiosk at the Student Union Building
8) Confirmation of Residence Accommodation & Associated Documents (Housing contract etc.)
9) Registration Card Extension Fee: 70,000 KRW in cash
Please visit the Office of International Affairs for the documents you will need for your Registration Card extension
Remember to reserve a visit before your visa expires
Dormitory Check-out
Remember to update your bank account number in the dormitory system to receive your deposit
*It is ultimately your responsibility to update your personal information and failure to do so will mean you will not receive your deposit in time and postpone the refund for everyone living in the dormitory as well

Those living in the dormitory must check out during the official check-out period (usually starting from the second to last day of the semester)
* if you do not check out during the official check-out period, you will be charged a fee from 17:00 of the official check-out date to the actual check-out date
1) Visit KU:L House's website/login to KU:L House app and register for check-out and room inspection
2) Clean your room and meet with the staff waiting in the 1st-floor laundry room on your check-out date
*if you cannot be physically present for check-out during the official check-out period, please submit the form for substitute inspection and
have a friend be present for room inspection
*make sure your friend notifies the staff that he/she is a substitute
Dormitory stay during summer/winter vacation
You may sign up for the vacation stay if you wish to stay at the dormitory during winter/summer vacation.
(application announcement will be sent via email around a month before the end of the semester)
