First of all, they said the max 4 players, but BGG says it's for 1 to 6. However, I agree with Aaron in that the number of players really doesn't make a difference. However, with little kids, the wait time might be too much with more players. I think my students would really enjoy this, especially at the harder levels, but I don't think I'm willing to pay $20 for it. Oh well. They were also saying that it was kind of obvious what the best move is. Little kids might get that, but I think they would reroll a lot more. Kids seem to think they have more control over that than they do. It's kind of like when Dave, jokingly, said that they were rolling lots of fish so they could expect more. Kids think like that or the opposite, we've rolled lots of fish, so now we won't. They don't understand what Aaron said, which is that dice don't have memory.
Oh, and why does the cat have to be the bad guy. Of course he is trying to prevent the mice from stealing, so maybe he's not.
