This seems like a very clever cooperative game. I love that each person has a specific job and that they can't talk. The big red pawn seems like a great communication device, but I can see why Nikki couldn't stand people pounding it. I'm guessing those people were overexcited or just rude (or both). It says 8+, but I don't think you could play it with mostly children. They would totally cheat; at least the kids that I know would. They wouldn't see any point in following the rules. The timer thing is a little weird. It's a neat mechanism, but I can't imagine it running out and nobody noticing. I tried to think of alternatives, but unless there's an app that replicates a sand timer that can be flipped, then I don't know one. Of course, it's easier to win if you don't know that time has run out.
