Last week an angel visited Mary to tell her she would be part of God's plan to rescue His people. This week, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream to tell him about the baby Mary would have.

Talk We have been reading the Christmas story from the book of Luke but this week we jumped over to Matthew. The four gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) tell Jesus' story from different perspectives. Matthew and Luke both wrote about Jesus' birth but focused on different things.
Do During our lesson today, we read Matthew 2:21. Say that as a family and see if you can memorize it together this week.
