Salvation is God's free gift to us that we cannot earn by being or doing good.

The gift of salvation must be accepted.

By belief and trust in Jesus Christ alone we can be forgiven of our sin and saved from sin's penalty.

When we confess and turn away from our sin and choose to follow Jesus, we are saved.

Verses from the Bible that help us know these truths...

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not the result of works, so that no one may boast.

Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
