A curriculum map is a visual representation of an academic program that shows, at a minimum, in which courses competencies are introduced, reinforced, and mastered. It can also be used for co-curricular activities as well. A curriculum map shows where the 10 Essential Skills are scaffolded throughout the curriculum, so it is an essential tool to demonstrate curricular coherence.
