The optimal correction carrier selection program reads an integrated file for each carrier, which contains binary data on travel distance and shape output from the "Program that simulates the processing process when correcting the shape of upper and lower platens for a double-sided polishing machine using correction carriers such as petal carriers and eccentric carriers." It normalizes the shape data, selects the optimal correction carrier and processing conditions that minimize the flatness of the upper and lower platens, and displays the expected shape of the corrected platen.
Its features are described below:
(1) Eight types of correction carriers can be processed simultaneously.
(2) Petal, eccentric, and annular correction carriers can all be processed.
