Shangri-La Precedent Study

This semester was my first Advanced Studio, and it had a primary focus on Sustainability in design. We began with studying many different types of sustainable projects, one of which was the Shangri-La Gardens in Orange, TX. This group study had us view the scope of the project with a storytelling lens, making plans and drawings of the existing buildings, nature, ecosystem, and site of the project.
