Houses builds upon the previous project by adding two additional housing units onto the lot, making the lot house three livable units. The family from the previous project remains, and the new occupants are members of the same family, making the entire lot a shared space. The initial unit remains untouched, but the two new proposed units sit adjacent to the house in length, in the backyard of the original. One is a one-story, and the other is a two-story unit. The homes are connected through a trellis that serves as shade for the exterior space in-between the units. Formally, the trellis serves as a bridge connecting the original house to the two new ones, as well as covering the literal bridge that is the exterior space that is shared between the units.
