Housing is a series of spanning apartment complexes that overtake some of the existing Mar Vista lots to create an entirely unique tract to the neighborhood. Connecting directly to the bus line, the pattern of the buildings begins there, but stretches into the middle of the neighborhood to be equally accessible throughout. The buildings share two types of Units: Family, and Co-Living units, and they're interspersed throughout the neighborhood, rotating and changing forms, similarly to the way the original Mar Vista tract does.
Formally, the buildings push and pull at distinct spaces for the interior, making each floor's plan pattern distinct. The envelope of the buildings is a light blue metal sheeted pattern, following the language of the blocky buildings. Between the buildings lies a weaving paved area, with green spaces, gardens, and a small water preserve that follows the direction of the tract. At the end of the complexes sits a playground and park, serving both the appartments and the surrounding houses.
