Ecosystems Urbanism is a nineteen-story office building set within Los Angeles. The project is built across from Pershing Square, a largely concrete plaza. The facade aims to be instantly bright and eye-catching, sporting a series of differently sized fin panels surrounding each facade, shifting colors as it wraps around the project, mirroring the diversity, variety, and different flavors of the city it's placed within.
The form of the building begins with smaller floors touching the ground, then expanding in size before gradually stepping upwards to a series of smaller floors that raise 19 stories. The first two floors have different programs, being mostly shops and amenity spaces, with open access to the courtyard space found within the middle of the footprint. From the third floor upward, the program is primarily office spaces, with certain floors having access to rooftop balconies.
