Familiar Exceptions

Familiar Exceptions furthered our ability to design and learn about structure at the same time. We had the same precedent structure type, but were given a “verb” to alter the structure type and design a proposal. My verb was “To Split,” so my design had the roofs splitting apart and turning diagonal, as well as the columns splitting like tree branches to support at different parts of the roof.
