I drive up and park in Staten Island

I usually drive about a half mile out from the location below and park - if I am lucky I can find a place to park for free (I make sure there are no “No Parking'' signs)

If I am not lucky, I pay for parking (which is still way cheaper than bringing my car into NYC, which I never do)

Then I ride my bike back to St George Ferry Terminal and take my bike on the Staten Island Ferry

The Ferry Employees check me and my bike with dogs and I go on separately from other passengers that are not taking bikes on the Ferry
