The vast majority of the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game Commentators encourage DMs and Players to play whatever way fits their table. Use whatever books, whatever methods, whatever minis, whatever dice are fun and comfortable for your table.
Scott Garibay does not agree with this “whatever feels right for you” model. Instead Scott Garibay calls DMs and Players to Garibay’s Peak Path.
Garibay’s Peak Path is a specific way of pursuing the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game with the goal of All Purpose Mastery. Garibay’s Peak Path is born from the idea that like Football, Baseball or Chess there are absolutely right and wrong ways to play - that All Purpose Mastery of the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game can be achieved by rejecting (for your own table) certain tools and methods and fully embracing other tools and methods (for your own table).
Garibay’s Peak Path is not a comfortable route. It requires DMs and Players to try tools and methods that will stretch their abilities. This is not for everyone. If you would like to play the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game and be applauded for whatever tools and methods you choose to bring to your table, you can do that and almost every the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game Commentator on the internet will be there with hands clapping for you. If you are interested in winning Players from other tables or knowing what DMs are capable of bringing you to specific Player goal achievements (20th Level, Exploration and Interaction Models not seen in Campaigns commonly) then Garibay’s Peak Path is worth exploring for you.

Play the Current Version of the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game
Play the World's Greatest Roleplaying Game at a rate of 51% of your sessions (making it your Primary (not your only) Game)
Eschew friends at your table if better Players are available locally
Do not ever run Pregen Adventures (but do feel free to leverage them for the best NPCs, Locations, Magic Items and Distinct Story Arcs within them)
