TRIP STATUS
The trips was highly successful - 1) lots of exercise, 2) we got to witness New York City in all its wintery goodness and 3) for NYC, it was done on a moderate budget (less than $80 dollars)
HAMILTON HIGHLIGHTS
Alexander Hamilton’s grave (at Trinity Church)
Alexander Hamilton’s college stomping grounds (King’s College, now Columbia University)
Alexander Hamilton’s Heart of Oaks practice ground (at St. Paul's Chapel)
GENERAL HIGHLIGHTS
Brookfield Place Luminaries - Autumn and Logan and I went into Brookfield Place just to take a break from the cold and we rounded a bend in the mall section and were looking at the Brookfield Place Luminaries (an awesome set of over 100 light cubes hanging from the ceiling, all of which were computer controlled and orchestrated to “play” with Christmas songs) - This is why I go to NYC (to be surprised with awesome things I did not expect to see)
Old NYC Architecture - Neo gothic Woolworth Building, the Park Row Building and the Flatiron Building were truly stunning
ADVENTURE TUNES

ADVENTURE LEARNINGS
NYC does not have a one day unlimited MetroCard pass (bummer), instead they have a seven day unlimited MetroCard pass for $31
Looked into taking the Big Bus Tours but found them prohibitively expensive
I have mastered getting into and out of NYC on a budget but I still have work to do on figuring out how to use NYC public transit on a budget
You can do a fun walking adventure in NYC (sans bicycle)
