Bring in the wheelie bin if needed. The bins live behind the clinic building.
Use the provided key to unlock the front door
Sometimes it can be a bit sticky - try turning the key slightly less
Push in the main latch to keep the door unlocked
Enter the code 0209 into the alarm at the front door
Turn the open/closed sign on the front door to open
Turn on the light switches under the alarm, as well as the x3 light switches on the left of the front door.
Ensure the client toilet (at the back of the clinic) has toilet paper, soap and that the bin is tidy
Turn music on at the reception computer (Spotify or the web-based radio)
Check the phone for any cancellations/important messages
Turn on heater/cooling as needed
Ensure all lights are off (client toilet, all x5 clinic rooms, resource area, staff room, staff toilet, reception area and hallways)
Ensure the backdoor is locked and all windows are closed
Turn off the music/reception computer
Ensure the heaters/coolers are off (split system remote kept on reception desk, central heating hub kept opposite the staff room wall.
Empty bins as needed (x5 clinic rooms, waiting area, reception bin, toilets x2, staff room rubbish and recycling bins)
Bin bags live in the third drawer on the left of the cupboards in the staff room
Put the wheelie bins out as needed (schedule posted next to reception computer):
Commingled Recycling (yellow lid) goes out every other Tuesday to be collected on Wednesday morning
General Waste (red lid) goes out every other Wednesday to be collected on Thursday morning
Swap open/closed sign on the front door to closed
Push 'On' on the alarm to set the alarm
Push the small circular button under the main latch to lock the front door
Pull the front door hard to close
Ensure all notes for the day/week are completed
Pack away all resources used
Wipe surfaces/high traffic areas (e.g. door handles)
Check if clinic room bin need to be emptied
Cleaning is to be completed as needed or once a week
Resources to be packed away from clinic rooms and the staff table
Surfaces (desks and tables) to be wiped down using disinfectant wipes
Door handles and light switches to be wiped down using disinfectant wipes
Spray resources weekly (and as needed) with disinfectant spray
Use toilet bowl cleaner and the toilet brush to clean the x2 toilets (PLEASE WEAR GLOVES AND USE A CHUX CLOTH AS NEEDED - TO BE THROWN AWAY IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLEANING
Vacuum the clinic weekly
