Follow all Joyful Journey OT policies, procedures, and contracts.
Comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions from management.
Act in line with Joyful Journey OT’s values and principles.
Protect the confidentiality of client, staff, and organisational information.
Only use personal information for work purposes or as required by law.
Maintain confidentiality during and after employment.
Act honestly and fairly in dealings with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Avoid misleading statements or misrepresentation of facts.
Do not unfairly interfere with colleagues’ roles or employment.
Treat colleagues, clients, and stakeholders respectfully and considerately.
Work collaboratively in open plan and community settings.
Assess risks to clients and co-workers diligently.
Do not knowingly put anyone at risk.
Respect Joyful Journey OT’s property, funds, time, and resources.
Minimise operational costs and avoid unnecessary wastage.
Respect intellectual property and organisational practices.
Avoid conflicts of interest with Joyful Journey OT.
Declare any personal interests that may affect organisational decisions.
Maintain punctuality and meet deadlines.
Perform duties to a high standard, responsibly and ethically.
Dress appropriately and represent the organisation professionally.
Maintain professionalism in communication, language, and behaviour.
Maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge relevant to your role.
Engage in continuous improvement and best-practice initiatives.
Only authorised personnel may speak publicly on behalf of Joyful Journey OT.
This includes media, online platforms, or any forum where views may be associated with the organisation.
Employees must avoid:
Rudeness, bullying, derogatory remarks, or unprofessional conduct.
Dishonesty, failure to follow through, or inconsiderate behaviour.
Public criticism or undermining of colleagues, clients, or the organisation.
Prioritising personal interests over the organisation’s interests.
Misuse of resources, intellectual property, or confidential information.
Failure to seek solutions or collaborate effectively.
Not complying with instructions regarding mobile phones or dress code.
Management oversees adherence to this policy. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action in line with Joyful Journey OT’s performance management processes.
