Hey y'all I'm a current freshman class senator as well as a co-chair of the Student Services Committee. Our projects this year have included everything from student forums to late-night to-go boxes. When you boil it down though, everything I've worked on has been about connecting with the student body. Strengthening the relationship between students and SGA, as well as students and administration, is something I want to continue next year. This as well as more class events like Haunted Homewood 2020, expanding the range for transportation services, and much more. Originally, I ran for SGA because from day one I've loved meeting other freshmen, hearing their stories and about where they come from. SGA seemed like the perfect way to support students and their stories through managing things like events and student organizations. I had no idea about the other things I'd find while presenting my first bill and having the other freshmen senators stand behind me, or while stuffing Valentine's day grams at two in the morning and cracking jokes. I found my team and my family. Another reason I ran is that I saw a lot of people post unattainable goals and empty promises. There's none of that here, a vote for me is a vote for real change. Thanks, y'all. #TEAMOKC2023
