Google Forms have been used to gather information from students so that I can access feedback, get their opinions, and get to know my students. A Google Form was used as an introductory assessment so that I could learn more about my students.

Interactive Programs have been used so that students can explore areas, ecosystems, or experiences that would otherwise be impossible or very difficult to facilitate in the classroom. An example of an Interactive Program used in the class is the PBS Marine Explorer program.

Kahoot is used as a way to review the Unit's Learning Targets. It is used before the test day to review and help students assess what they need to study and what they know.

Virtual Labs are used as an option in Menu Assignments. It is an accommodation for those students who do not like working with their hands and prefer online labs.
Lesson Plan: Waves, Tides, and Currents (2/28-3/4)
Polling Software like PollEverywhere allows me to use students' devices (phones, tablets, laptops) as response devices for a question. I use the software to brainstorm with the whole class and create a word cloud around a theme/topic. For example, the photo above shows a word cloud about the topic 'Plankton'.
