Ph.D and M.Phil. Degrees in Social Work with UGC-NET and M.A. and B.A. from Delhi University and a recipient of Research Fellowship from UGC. Academic and Research interests include Geriatric Social Work, Child and women Rights, Counseling, Gender Studies. She has many research publications in reputed National and International Journals (Scopus)/ articles / Chapters published in Books. Research Project funded by ‘National Commission for Women’ i.e. first ever book on women in Sikkim entitled “A Situational Analysis of Women and Girls in Sikkim “, published by NCW. Executive committee member of ACAP (India). Life member of NAPSWI.
