Ehpad Patrol is an autonomous vehicle designed to assist healthcare staff in elderly care homes (EHPAD). It monitors patients, detects falls, interacts through speech, and reports real-time data to a supervision interface.
Equipped with advanced sensors, computer vision, and AI algorithms, the robot ensures continuous monitoring while improving safety and communication.
By supporting caregivers in their daily routines, Ehpad Patrol contributes to more responsive, efficient, and compassionate elderly care.
The robot is designed to support healthcare staff by detecting critical situations and interacting with patients:
Fall detection: identifies when a patient has fallen using onboard cameras and accelerometers.
Consciousness check: asks simple voice questions (e.g., “What day is it?”) to evaluate awareness.
Patient recognition: identifies patients via QR code or facial recognition.
Emergency response: autonomously moves to the patient’s room when a fall or abnormal event is detected.
Patient call function: allows patients to request the robot by pressing a call button.
The Ehpad Patrol can move independently and safely throughout the facility:
Mapping and localization: builds a digital map of corridors and rooms for navigation.
Obstacle detection and avoidance: avoids both static and moving obstacles in real time.
Automated path following: follows predefined or dynamically updated routes.
The robot continuously collects, analyzes, and transmits health and environmental data:
Vital parameter measurement: monitors temperature, heart rate, and blood oxygen level.
Data logging and storage: securely stores patient data and activity logs on a remote server.
Supervision web interface: displays patient information, alerts, and robot status in real time.
Wireless communication: uses Wi-Fi to send alerts and updates to healthcare personnel.
