Project Description
Nowadays there are many accidents occurring in the streets due to human negligence. Most of them are caused by an altered psychological state or a moment of inattention. The autonomous car is a promising solution for this problem providing a means of transportation without being controlled by the driver. A well-developed autonomous car will be a safer option as the machine provides a more precise operation and a faster reaction.
Hence, the aim of this project is to develop an autonomous car able to adapt its behavior depending on its nearby environment, just like a driver should do with his car.
Features
Adapt the car's behaviour according to the environment detected in different complexe situations
Adjust the speed of the car according to the speed road sign detection
Stop the car when pedestrian are detected on the road
Slow down speed when a speed bump is detected
