Good Boy
The weight of a complete intervention bag for firefighters or rescuers varies between 30kgs and 35kgs. It is heavy and sometimes complicated to transport. To facilitate transport, one idea is to use a small robot to transport the equipment.
Our project is to develop a robot which is capable of following a rescuer dressed in white clothes at a distance of 2 meters. As the rescuer can demand that the robot stopped and the equipment is used, the robot must stop on a signal from the rescuer. Also, it must be able to change from one rescuer to another. The robot must do all its tasks without any collisions.
Features

The robot is able to detect and avoid collisions
The robot must stop and wait to be told to follow again after a signal from the rescuer
The robot must follow another rescuer after a signal from the currently followed rescuer.
The robot can detect if it is lost, and if so, stop and send its location and a picture of its environment
