His entire career Maarten Verboom (1961) has been active in the field of accessible information for people with a print disability. Since 2006 Maarten works as CEO for Dedicon, producer and provider of accessible information for people with a print disability in The Netherlands. Before his appointment as CEO he worked as Head of Marketing and Research & Development at Dedicon and its predecessors. In 2001 Maarten joined the board of Directors of the DAISY Consortium in which he acted as Treasurer in 2018 until July 2019. From July 2019 he is in office as President of the Daisy Consortium.
