Zine Ideas (Sketches TBA):

1.  Mars on Earth

A zine about a really tiny mouse pirate named Mars going on a really tiny adventure. This design is a bit old so I'd revamp it, but definitely keep her fork weapon and pushpin peg- leg! 

Storyline: Each page is a different tiny situation she has to deal with: i.e. giant birds and insects, crossing an "ocean" (puddle), interacting with huge human objects, etc.

Format: 8 page single folding zine, 8.5 x 11, colored

2. Buckwheat the Brave 

In a similar light, a zine about a little leaf rat/shrew character named Buckwheat who is very stupid. The drawing is a bit old but a lot of people have liked his design so it may be fun to do something with him.

Storyline: Each page is him doing something stupid: i.e. buckwheat walks off a cliff, buckwheat eats something poisonous, buckwheat fights a cat, etc. However, in the end he perserveres in a horrible example of life lessons.

Format: 8 page single folding zine, 8.5 x 11, colored.

3. Nice and Accurate Guide to Dogs

A goofy zine about dog breed "stereotypes" that are either hilariously accurate or downright wild. I love exaggerating dog designs so this would be a very inserious zine.  

Storyline: Each page is a different breed of dog + its description.

Format: 8 page single folding zine, 8.5 x 11, black and white.
