Privacy Policy for Gopals Diary

Effective Date: September 6, 2026

Gopals Diary ("we", "our", or "us") built the Gopals Diary app as a free-to-use personal offline digital anthology and creative utility suite. This SERVICE is provided by Gopals Diary and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Storage (Offline-First)

• Local Storage: Gopals Diary operates on an offline-first architecture. All data created within the app—including your personal diary entries, vault items, favorite quotes, and preferences—is stored securely and exclusively on your local device using a local database (Room Database).

• No Remote Servers: We do not operate external servers or cloud databases to collect, store, or process your personal notes, journal entries, or media files.

2. Camera, Photos, and Media

• Camera Usage: The app requires camera access solely to let you capture live vintage filtered photos, quotes, and memories directly within the app.

• Media Storage: Captured photos, edited videos, and posters are saved directly to your device's local public storage (such as the device gallery under Pictures/GopalsDiary or Movies).

• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload, transmit, or share any of your photos, camera captures, or edited videos to any online server or third party. All media remains strictly private and local to your device.

3. Account Management

• The Account control section within the application is designed purely for local device profile management, local credentials, and managing camera/video export settings. No user account credentials are transmitted to or stored on external servers.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

• Gopals Diary does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking services that collect personally identifiable information (PII).

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
