Mindful Taste

You can try mindful tasting anytime you eat. Before you take a bite, touch and/or smell what you will be eating. Put it in your mouth, but don't chew or swallow it. Move the bite around in your mouth & notice the flavor(s). Is it sweet, spicy or sour? Hot or cold? Smooth or rough? How does it feel in your mouth? Chew and swallow slowly.
