Established in 1976, Suez Canal University is an Egyptian higher education institution located near Ismailia. When courses first began in 1977 there were just six faculties: the faculty of science, the faculty of agriculture, the faculty of commerce, the faculty of engineering, the faculty of technology and the faculty of education. Today there are 16 colleges and 4 institutes The faculty of pharmacy was established in 1993 and graduated its first class in 1998. The college aims to graduate students with high competitive ability at the local and regional levels by providing its students with distinguished and continuous pharmaceutical education by offering advanced academic and professional programs. (A college accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education).
EPSF-SCU started in 2000 under the name of SCPSA(Suez Canal Pharmacy Students’ Association) The journey of one thousand miles starts with a single step, and in our history this step is when Mr. Adham Kassab (The founder) and his friend Mohamed Elzarei (The co-founder) contacted the president then who was Mr. Maged and in the unforgettable day of 26th of June 2009 in the 18th general assembly of EPSF at the Artillery officers' house in Cairo they presented their plan and have the General Assembly vote that they could start launching EPSF in Suez Canal University. EPSF-SCU is now a welcoming organization for pharmacy students of Suez canal university with great achievements, hosting many events like SOTW (step on the way) an educational event and many more to come.
