Port Said University (PSU) is a public university located in Port Said, Egypt.
It was officially established in 2010, following a presidential decision to transform the Suez Canal branch in Port Said into an independent university.
The university has a rich history, with its first faculties dating back to 1975 under the supervision of Helwan University.
PSU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs across its 14 faculties, including Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Education, Physical Education, Specific Education, Nursing, Arts, Law, and Management Technology and Information Systems.
The university is committed to providing advanced educational frameworks, promoting scientific research, and fostering international partnerships.
With a student population of around 29,206 and a dedicated faculty of 1,430 members, PSU aims to achieve sustainable development and excellence in institutional performance.

The Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation (EPSF) at Port Said University is a student organization dedicated to promoting pharmaceutical education, research, and community service among its members.
EPSF-Port Said organizes various seminars, workshops, and events to enhance the skills and knowledge of pharmacy students, as well as to foster collaboration and networking within the pharmaceutical community.
Port Said is a historic city established by Khedive Said, after whom it was named – "Port Said" or the Port of Said. As the first city located along the Suez Canal, Port Said has long held strategic and cultural significance. Known for its beautiful waterfront, stunning natural scenery, and vibrant marine life, it has become a famous destination for tourism. The city is particularly renowned for offering some of the finest varieties of fish in Egypt.

Among the key sites are the Al-Masalla Garden, known for its towering obelisk, the Corniche, and the Suez Canal Boardwalk, providing panoramic views of the canal, as well as historic parks like Saad Zaghloul Garden and Ferial Garden, which are among the oldest parks in the city.
Another fascinating aspect of Port Said is the short ferry ride it offers, which takes only about five minutes to cross from Africa to Asia. On the Asian side, visitors can admire unique historic buildings, and the famous salt hills, and even encounter flocks of flamingos.
