Minya University is one of the governmental universities in Egypt consists of 20 colleges including 4 of them locating out of the university and It's head is Dr Esam Farhat.

 Minya University:

• Came in the 2019 World University Rankings among the top 100 Arab universities.

• According to the "QS" classification, occupying 81st place and 12th place locally out of 60 Egyptian public and private universities.

•  1001st place globally according to the British Times classification. 

Minya is one of Egypt governorates mainly located at the upper egypt region. It is characterized by its history and natural beauty. Its capital city, Minya, sits on the western bank of the Nile River.
