The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Azhar University for Girls in Cairo is one of the leading institutions offering specialized academic programs in pharmacy for female students. The Egyptian Pharmaceutical Students' Federation Association in
Al-Azhar University for girls (EPSF AUG) was founded in 2010.
• The founders were Rasha, Mariam Yaseen, Samira Abd-alrafea and then Asmaa Salama, Hager Hagras, Asmaa Soliman and three other join them. They were very interested to become a part of that entity and to have an association related to EPSF in our university, so they began to be held the events of EPSF agenda in our university to submit report with them in the GA in the end of the year to become part of EPSF, that was in 2009 and we become part of EPSF in the GA in Assuit in 2010.
• One of the founders was fiancée of one of EPSF Azhar and he helped them very much in the procedures.
• The first executive board positions were president, vice president, secretary general, public health chairperson, professional development chair person, media& publication chairperson and organization committee chairperson. That were until 2011 then treasurer, continues education chairperson and public relations chairperson were added to the board, in 2016 the public relations committee was divided to two committees external and internal, the fund-raising chairperson and student exchange program (SEP) chairperson were also added to the executive board.
• When the association was founded its name wasn't EPSF AUG, it was APSA G (Azhar Pharmaceutical Student Federation for Girls) and of course the logo was different, that was the first logo. The first constitution we had were in 2013, the president in that time was Sara Hamdi, they contact with person which is graduated from law college and have experience in writing constitutions and he helped them.
• After we became member in EPSF all the team was very enthusiastic to know that entity more and so they didn't miss up any national event.
