comedy / animation (11x10)

UK

Comedy animation series based on Gray Jolliffe’s internationally best-selling series of cartoon books about the continuing adventures of a man and his “best friend”.

Directed by Oscar winner Bob Godrey, the series was designed as 11 individual episodes as well as as two seperate ‘movies’ with additional animation of Wicked Willie as a stand-up comedian to link the episodes.

Originally banned on British television, the initial video releases were hugely successful – Wicked Willie, The Video (1990) followed by Wicked Willie Rides Again (1991). The films have been subsequently re-released on DVD in multiple territories over the years.

Now, for the first time, Wicked Willie comes to video.

Introduced by Wicked Willie himself, we learn his opinions on both men and women, his advice on seeing foreign parts as well as the ultimate guide to star signs and even his feelings towards environmental issues.

These are the continuing adventures of man and his Best Friend since the dawn of creation. It’s the most obvious buddy buddy partnership the world has ever known…
