After Sarah is rescued from certain death by a stranger who seems to know the future, she receives a mysterious invitation to attend a Time Travelers Convention where people gather to analyze and argue about historical timelines.
Her savior, Marc, tells how Conventions have been held throughout the centuries, identifying ‘life events’ that need to be rectified for the integrity of the future. Her life was saved because she too is a time traveler. And now she needs to go back – for the sake of her sister, Amy.
When Sarah learns returns to the past, she discovers herself back twenty years ago, on the eve of the East Coast power cut, when her parents died in a house fire Amy barely survived.
Now Sarah has the chance to save them all - until she discovers a horrific secret, and realizes how the future depends on her actions.
