documentary - 50 mins

In 1981, the Virgin Mary appeared on a hill above a small farming town in Bosnia to six young children. She has been appearing to them ever since, giving these visionaries messages of peace to share with the world and inspiring millions from around the world to visit Medjugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and experience the place of miracles.

This documentary follows a diverse group of New Zealanders on their journey and the climb up Apparition Hill, where the Virgin Mary first appeared. The group is lead by a devout Catholic mother and her daughter, who looks to prove to her mother that all we see, hear, and learn is at best just a beautiful modern myth.

For all of them it become a journey of revelations that challenges their preconceptions and faith, and by the end, with prejudices and beliefs tested, none of them will be the same.
