We were up early to drive to Dublin in time for our flight to Amsterdam. A taxi brought us to Boogards B&B which was much different than we had expected. The "breakfast" consisted of bread and fruit in a small refrigerator outside our room. Despite our hesitation it turned out to be just fine. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do.
The next day we walked to the Anne Frank house for our 9:00 AM tour. Marisa and Shelly had had a rough night but they rallied and enjoyed the rest of the day.
Before leaving MN we scheduled a canal cruise with Friendship Amsterdam. The day of the cruise was very windy with intermittent showers. We were told all cruises had been canceled. We went to the main office to ask for a refund. Instead they informed us that they had been trying to reach us as they had upgraded our cruise to a covered boat. It was fantastic. We were served beer and wine (all we wanted) plus snacks, meats and cheeses. John was our captain and Lizzie our guide. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole trip.

Coffee Shops in Amsterdam are not for coffee but rather alcohol-free establishments where cannabis (weed, hash, marijuana) are sold and consumed. Amsterdam counts about 250 of them, most located in the red light district.
