Tuesday 6.9.20

Reading:

  • phonics- R controlled vowels

  • Comprehension- Listen to "Wilma Unlimited" again and respond to identify cause and effect. The second page, "Billy's Dance," has text and comprehension questions to show that you can read and understand what you have read. OR read a grade-level appropriate book independently and identify 4 or more causes and their corresponding effects.

math: addition and tally graph

writing: Write about your favorite sport. Remember to use capitols and punctuation. Also try to create lots of details with adjectives in your writing.

Friday 6.12.20

  • PE/Math- Let’s Move activity promoting exercise and counting!

  • science/STEM: Build a Tower- Post a picture for me to see the end result. Fill out the reflection sheet when finished and turn in. Have fun!!!!! (adult directions and what to tell kids.

  • reading: Post a video on Flipgrid about our story Wilma Unlimited (optional). If you read a different story, please respond to it using Seesaw and send to your teacher.
